Anyway, Something is rotten in Denmark is a line from the Shakespeare play "Hamlet". Shakespeare was writing about the internal problems of Denmark at that time, which must have been about 1100. It has witches stirring a cauldron at the beginning, chanting incantations. Do you still have witches in Denmark?
